Environmental Statement
La Casa de Turismo Rural La Vera de la Hoya, aware of the importance of preserving and protecting the environment as a strategy for environmental quality (defined as meeting the expectations and motivations of tourists, both in the environ-mental as the cultural), and to contribute to the sustainability of natural resources makes the following environmental statement:
- Comply with all regulations applicable to the sector.
- Introduce continuous improvement in environmental behavior as a sign of an efficient and environmentally friendly.
- Contribute to the conservation and restoration of historical and cultural heritage of the island of Tenerife.
- Disseminate this policy between the administrations and other entities to be understood and embraced.
- Properly inform tourists about environmental policy and environmental measures implemented in the rural tourism.
- Encourage all staff adequately trained, both in management and in environmental tourism.
- Implement rural tourism accommodation, through concrete measures, the following areas of environmental management:
- Reduce, reuse and recycling.
- Minimization of water consumption, energy and fuels.
- Effective management of air emissions and noise.
- Proper management of wastewater.
- Proper management of hazardous and noxious substances aggressive to the environment.
- Introduction of variable environmental reforms and design, both inside and outside the house.
